Street Dancing, nagbigay-kulay sa Pagibang Damara

Naging matingkad at makulay ang kahabaan ng Maharlika Highway nitong Huwebes (Abril 25) nang muling masaksihan ang taunang Street Dancing na isa sa pangunahing atraksiyon sa Pagibang Damara Festival.

Hindi lamang angking galing sa pagsayaw ang ipinamalas ng 12 paaralang lumahok sa naturang patimpalak kundi kitang-kita rin ang kanilang pagkamalikhain dahil sa naggagandahan nilang kasuotan (costume) at props.

Mula City Social Circle, humataw ang mga mag-aaral na kasali at bigay-todo sa pag-indayog upang mabigyan ng kasiyahan ang mga manonood na hindi inalintana ang init ng panahon.

Nagpatuloy ang kanilang pagsayaw hanggang Public Market kung saan idinaos ang programa at isinagawa ang presentasyon o ‘dance rituals’ ng bawat paaralan na kinabibilangan ng San Jose City National High School, Sto. Nino 3rd National High School, San Jose Christian Colleges, Porais High School, Tondod High School, CPNHS – Kita-Kita Extension, Tayabo High School, Elim School for Values and Excellence, Bagong Sikat High School, San Agustin Integrated School, Caanawan National High School, at Core Gateway College.

Kaugnay nito, naidepensa ng defending champion na Caanawan National High School ang kanilang titulo at muling itinanghal na kampeon sa Street Dancing Competition ngayong taon, at sila rin ang napiling Best in Costume.

Nasungkit naman ng Porais High School ang ikalawang puwesto at ikatlo ang San Jose City National High School.

Samantala, sa kanyang pambungad na pagbati ay lubos na pinasalamatan ni City Tourism Officer Darmo Escuadro ang DepEd Division of San Jose City gayundin ang lahat ng mga guro, mag-aaral, at mga magulang sa patuloy nitong pakikiisa sa kompetisyon at sa Pagibang Damara Festival.

Nagpahayag din si Mayor Kokoy Salvador ng kaniyang pasasalamat, at maging ang mga tanggapan ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Nueva Ecija at Provincial Tourism Office ay nagpaabot din ng kanilang pakikiisa at mainit na pagbati sa Lungsod ng San Jose.
