San Jose City (Nueva Ecija, Philippines PH) strategic location gained the title of being a "Gateway to the North" as the city's central business district provides easy access to the province of Nueva Vizcaya and the Cagayan Valley Region (55 kms), to Pangasinan and the Ilocos Regions (38 kms), to the country's Summer Capital Baguio City (116 kms) and likewise to the Dingalan Port (70 kms) in Aurora Province.

The city is situated in the northern part of Nueva Ecija, 47 kilometers away from the seat of the provincial government in Palayan City; 160 kms. north of Manila; 116 kms. south of Baguio City; and approximately 150 kms. west of the Clark Special Economic Zone. It is nestled at the foot of the Caraballo Mountain Range, and it is bounded by the Sierra Madre Mountain in the east, Municipality of Carranglan in the North, Municipalities of Lupao and Talugtog in the West and Science City of Muoz and Llanera in the South.

Ligaw na agila, dumapo sa San Jose

Isang nanghihinang agila na tinatayang isang talampakan ang laki ang bumagsak sa bubong ng isang bahay sa Abar 1st nitong Lunes.

Agad naman itong inireport kay Brgy. Captain Librado Dulay na nakipag-ugnayan sa lokal na pamahalaan para masagip ang agila.

Matapos maireport ay ni-rescue ang nasabing agila ni Rod Bucao na kawani ng Tanggapan ng Punong Lungsod, at dinala naman ito sa Sto. Niño 1st Mahogany Plantation Farm ng dating City Mayor Alex S. Belena para pansamantalang alagaan.

Sa kasalukuyan, pinapalakas ang batang agila habang nakikipag-ugnayan ang pamahalaang lokal sa mga awtoridad para mai-turn over ito.

Ayon sa tagapangalaga ng agila na si Emer Abelardo, bumuti na ang kalagayan ng agila at masigla na ito kumpara noong matagpuan ito sa Abar 1st.
